We dry and process sand on two eight-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, throughout the year loading trucks and railcars.  The company employs twenty five people, including administration and sales.  Some of our employees have been with the company 30+ years, so as you can see we are quite small but have an enormous amount of experience in processing and shipping sand.

During 1998 we were certified by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance as having a Quality Management System that meets the standards of ISO 9002.  Additionally, NSF has certified us to their standard #61 drinking water program, and we regularly score 100% ratings on many of our customer supplier audits.

We ship in excess of 400,000 tons/year with much of this material going to the foundry industry as core and molding sand.  We also ship melting sand to the glass container industry, in addition to specialty sands for the construction market, used in stucco's, plaster, polymer concrete sand blends, and many other diverse applications.

Apart from our people who are our strongest asset, our processing plant gives us the ability to blend nine fractions of sand produced by the fractionators back into the many standard and non-standard grades we offer.  Our mining, stockpiling, and processing produce a tightly controlled feed to the blend belt, allowing our standard specs to be some of the tightest in the industry, and giving our customers a consistent quality product and peace of mind.
